It's not the size it says it is. Says it's 6.5 by 7 feet but the biggest part is going diagonally and that barely makes 6.5 feet. Besides it being a foot smaller than I ordered, it's a nice sandbox. My 5 year old loves it. Easy to put together.

The sandbox arrived within a few days and the contents were in good condition. It went together easily. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the cover, which I knew would be an issue. So, I made a wooden cover with two separate halves (I discarded the idea of a hinge to make it lighter and less cumbersome to put on and take off) The wood, paint, hinge and glue cost me over CA, but now I don't worry about it in the rain. (The fabirc cover would collapse following most rainy days.) I added a couple of L-shaped blocks to elevate the lid halves where they meet and make the water drain off better, though a little will often remain at the sides and dry up when the rain stops.

Was pretty easy to assemble. Almost Lincoln log-esque. I recommend tacking the liner down as opposed to just cutting the excess off like the direction want you to. Unless you have a perfectly flat area and a small factory flaw free build, you might see some sand leakage. Overall it's a really good sandbox that looks nice, has ample seating for the kids and is enjoyed fully by them.

Wonderful sandbox! Easy to put together with minimal frustrations. We used 15, 50lb bags of play sand to fill. So about 750lbs of sand. It filled it to a very nice level. We think it could use 2-3 more bags but definitely doesn’t NEED it, and we haven’t gone out of our way to get them. My 9 year old and 9 month old fit super comfortably in the sandbox with so much room to spare. It’s a great size! We’ve been really happy with this purchase.

This is awesome. I spent longer researching lumber costs and trying to figure out if it was worth to build my own... I assembled in 20 min flat. Once assembled, seems very sturdy. Agree future sealant / stain will increase longevity. Cover has held up through 5 spring snow storms, but is thin.

This is a very easy project and the kids love it! We put a patio umbrella in for shade. For anyone wondering how much sand - we bought 19 of Home Depot Sandbox 50lb bags and it works for us - just 6 inches below the top. My kids LOVE it and use it daily (11 and 7). Very simple assembly. I used garden fabric and stapled it around the entire inside to stop the sand from leaking out the sides. Worked great. We have about 1000 lbs of sand in it and that is the perfect amount for us. The cover is garbage. I put stakes around the outside and use bungees and a tarp to keep it covered.

This is an awesome little sandbox. I ordered it to go with my daughters swing set. It arrived in 4 days and all pieces were in mint condition. It looks really nice. The cover is great for keeping cats out. Don’t see any sand leaking but I plan to add sand all around the playground anyway so that’s not really a concern to me. I think it’s a great price for the end product.

We purchased this sandbox for our grand son who is three years old. It was easy to put together, and the minute the sand was in, he brought all of his little cars and trucks and started playing in it. He loves it, and so does his baby brother! It’s nice to have a cover to keep out neighborhood cats and other animals plus that way the sand will stay clean. I think this is an excellent addition to the outdoor toys for your kids or grandkids. We might buy one to keep at our house for when the grandkids come over to visit, as well. We definitely recommend this product.

Love this sandbox, it is the perfect size for my three toddlers! Easy to put together, and great quality. The cover fits really well, we just put all the sand toys/buckets in the middle of the sandbox to prevent the cover from collecting water in the middle. We used 20 bags of sand to fill it. Ground tarp ripped very easily with digging and now I have tarp pieces up in my sand and the dirt underneath is mixing with the sand. Will have to remove 1100lbs of sand and relay a new ground cover. How annoying. Actual box itself is very nice though.

Our son loves his new sandbox, and it looks great too! The cedar planks seem very sturdy and the whole kit assembled pretty easily. We got 15 50-lb bags of Quik Sand PlaySand and that seemed to fill the box sufficiently, although it could easily fit another five or ten. The cover is nice although it seems a bit thin. We will see how it holds up to the elements!
